Makar acquired and implemented a full renovation / reposition strategy into a Kimpton brand property.
The property will become a year-round coastal getaway with access to all of the activities surrounding the Santa Barbara area as well as cater to corporate and leisure travelers. Further, the property is situated in close proximity to the Santa Barbara Airport, the University of California Santa Barbara, the local business district as well as the pristine beaches of Santa Barbara. All of which provide for a customer base beyond that of tourism.

Makar acquired and is currently in the process of renovating and repositioning the experiential boutique resort under Makar Hotels & Resorts.
The property consists of a 30-room operating ranch spread over approximately 148 acres, with access to miles of hiking, skiing, fishing and horseback riding trails. Originally homesteaded in 1915, the resort is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Makar acquired, implemented a renovation/reposition plan and manages the property under its management company, Makar Hotels & Resorts.

Makar acquired, completed a full renovation of the entire Anaheim Hilton Hotel and performs all asset management functions.
As the largest hotel in Orange County by room count, the 1,572 room Anaheim Hilton Hotel is widely recognized as Anaheim's premier convention and resort facility. From rich contemporary guest rooms to smarter meeting and event areas, the cosmopolitan vibe, refreshed décor and re-energized atmosphere enhance the many features the hotel currently offers its guests. Makar designed, developed and opened the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort.
Makar also re-designed, re-developed and re-opened the 18 hole championship golf course as well as the beach and dining club, the Monarch Bay Club.
The landmark, 172 acre development overlooks the Pacific Ocean featuring 400 guest rooms, 30,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, 60,000 square feet of outdoor meeting space and a 30,000 square foot spa.
Makar acquired and entitled plans for the restoration/renovation of the property.
The beachfront hotel is located in the exclusive, South Beach, Art Deco district of Miami within a strong base of demand generators and is in close proximity to the Miami International Airport.
